The DX168 connects seamlessly via a single Cat5e cable to your dLive surface, MixRack, SQ mixer, or upstream DX168 through a secure EtherCon port. Additionally, a second locking EtherCon port provides a redundant connection to compatible hardware or allows for daisy chaining with another DX168 for expanded remote I/O capabilities.

With the ability to connect up to 6 DX168 units directly to a dLive system, you can achieve an incredible 96 remote inputs and 48 remote outputs alongside those provided by your MixRack and surface. This makes it perfect for large-scale productions and complex audio setups.

When integrated with the Avantis system, you can easily daisy chain two DX168 units directly to an SLink port, and up to 16 DX168 units can be added through a DX Link card or DX hubs, providing ample flexibility for your audio needs.

For SQ systems, two units can be connected in series directly to an SQ SLink port, with optional SLink cards allowing for even more connections. The DX Hub can manage up to 8 DX168 units, patching them freely to the 48 input channels of the SQ.

When paired with the AHM-64, you can also connect two DX168 units directly to an SLink port, and extend your setup to include up to 8 DX168 units via a DX hub, offering unparalleled flexibility across 64 input channels.

The DX168 is truly plug-and-play—there's no need for IP addressing, and it supports CAT5e cables (or higher) for distances of up to 100 meters. This user-friendly design ensures that you can focus on your audio performance without the hassle of complicated setups.
